Holly Dior – Model – Parts 1+2.

This is the story of my past. An reflection on what I’ve been and what I’ve come to be, along with some helpful lessons. This story is meant to be written as if someone else was telling the story from their point of view. I’d like to thank my friend, Chanel, for giving me input and ideas. I’d also like to thank mamaVISION.com for inspiring me to reflect on my life. Thank you!

Part 1
Holly sat cross-legged on the floor of her room. Her eyes wandered along the window, watching the clear, fresh rain drops trail along the glass. She traced the lines the rain left behind, as the drops continued to sail down her window.
As she proceeded to get up from her place, her thick, golden curls twirled around her face. Her aqua eyes looked away from the scene of water on the window. She stood up; the ruffles on her silky blue night dress made the slightest, yet most noticeable sounds in the still of the night.
As she hopped into her bed, she pulled the sheets toward her neck and wondered what tomorrow would bring. Her arms fell to her side and she let out a final gasp of contentment before collapsing into the ecstasy that was sleep.

Part 2
8:00am, Holly stirred slightly before waking. She gazed around her room, looking at herself in the mirror.
“Wow”, she thought.
“Look at me. Look at me.”, she whispered. Those words lingered in her mind.
  The phone rang.
“Ugh, who would be calling at 8:10 in the morning?”, Holly asked herself.
She ran to the telephone and picked up, all out of breath.
“Hello?”, she asked.
“Hello. This is Mr. Fletcherman, from UK Models…is this Holly?
“Why, yes, it is…go on…”
“Well, I, along with a few other UK Models recruiters, spotted you at the Miss Holiday Pageant last month…your beauty mesmerized us…so I was just wondering; would you ever consider modeling for us?”, Mr. Fletcherman asked.
“Wow? Are you serious? Wait, might you clear something up for me? Corali Pitcharno took first place, and I managed to place second. Why are you asking me? Why don’t you want Corali? She is beautiful.”, Holly questioned.
“Yes, yes, of course Corali is beautiful…but you, you are stunning. You are more…what we are looking for, if you will.”, he answered.
“I-I-I…I’m-m-m honored. Ye-s, I’d lo-ve to.”, she stumbled.

you’re an amazing author, you’re so lucky to have a talent like that. here’s a poem i wrote:

    Broken hearts begin to bleed,
Nobody feels like they can suceed.
    Who ever knew
    life could be so tough?
    When the going gets rough,
Sometimes all it does is gets worse.
    Life’s just like that.
    It’s hard.

i really love writing too…is it your passion also?
